if u let them puff up (i know u didnt ofcourse) but if u would let them puff its very stressy for the fish so never do that but those spikey puffs. ( idk the name =P) are really friendly =D
i saw a puffer just like yours at the fish store and completely fell in love with it. it has such a cute adorable baby face. but unfortunately i cannot have one in my tank, i just started it 2 months ago, its a 220 gallon. and i have lots of corals in there and small fishes.

It’s not a good thing for a puffer to puff up, it means they are scared or pissed.

You shouldn’t make a puffer puff on demand. It’s not good for them to do it too often.
i think it only puffs up when it feels threatened or is telling something “back off.”
